William Woods University Educational Leadership Cohort

 A WWU cohort building and informational meeting at McAuley High School on Wed. Dec.1 at 6 pm.

We hope to bring back Cohort meetings as soon as January and will also discuss all online programs as well and will introduce a new synchronous cohort option…

KAMO Leadership Forum

Pitt State invites you to join them on Thursday, February 24 for the 2022 KAMO Leadership Forum. This interactive event led by Jeff Charbonneau will energize and inspire you through guided conversations focused on Uniting Around our Why. Jeff is an educator who has worked at multiple levels, currently serving as the middle school principal of Zilah Middle School in Zilah, Washington. The 2013 National Teacher of the Year, Charbonneau has been recognized for his innovative teaching approaches and is internationally recognized as a teacher leader and education advocate. The conference will be held in the PSU Overman Student Center, 9:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m., with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. Registration for the 2022 KAMO Leadership Forum begins Monday, November 15th.

SWC Roundtables

Eileen Ford from the Southwest Center sent us this information on the upcoming roundtable meetings. They are content specific, and teachers get to collaborate with their content peers from around the area. 

Good Afternoon!

The SWC Content Roundtable meetings provides content teachers an opportunity to share what is working in their classrooms/districts and expand their professional network!  Join us and collaborate with area educators as they share ideas and classroom instructional practices.  DESE content directors will also attend the meetings to share information and answer any questions you may have.

Please be sure to turn in your mentor/mentee paperwork for first semester. It is due January 4, and it needs to be turned into Shirley Gollhofer in the high school. Also, please make sure it is signed and dated.

 Good Morning,

The SWC Digital Resource provided below was created to support your districts/teachers as they continue to serve our students in these unprecedented times.  The padlet provides resources and training for online, remote, and blended learning. This collection is intended to help teachers identify and share useful tools that will help them adapt more easily to new challenges. The Padlet will be updated regularly to continue to provide relevant resources and supports for instructional practices and other areas of need.
